The seventies were ending and so was
an era of most hilarious, ridiculously riotus coterie of friends
Dudley High has ever seen. We were big, bold and jocular.
Seriousness was never a part of our vocabulary and yet we were very
dominating. Just to put our size into perspective, when we were
in Form 5 ( 1978), school administration had to elect some of us
giants as JUNIOR PREFECTS. So there you go,size matters. I don't
know if this ever happened again at Dudley. If this paragraph
doesn't describe us then I would like my coterie of friends to email
me with their version........ Below are the
notorious 79er's.
Some of us needs to
be commented upon.............its a pity that a cant say any nasty
stuff....hmmm..... I only became aware of this civility after
leaving the company this group.
Areee...Mosese Bhaiya....During
our school days he found himselft in weird places and
unfortunately he found himself into world wide web. Last I met
him was at the Ministry of information building at the
government buildings in Fiji. It was on the night of the first
coup d’état. As a member of the FBC press team I went to record
Rabuka's announcement of his new cabinet and lo behohld it was
Mosses with an M16.. ps he told me it was an
M17??????
As always Ashu was
very good with his hands.Last known address was at Winston hills in
the suburbs of Sydney Australia. Presently he makes his own home
brew known as Gin Pani, and that is what screwed up his hands. He is
still the champ of the all nighter parties. Takes good care of me
everytime I am in Sydney.

dear you seem to have disappeared from the face of the earth. The
last time I saw you was at our farewell party at Shobhags place.
Where are you now.Some say you went to Australia, is it true?

Every time you try to contact him he is always on the other side of

Identical siamese twin..Isa, after successful operation they both
went on their seperate ways. Last I know of Jone when he was at PWD.
As for Shalen he is in Campbel or Black town in Australia. He buys
me beer everytime I am in Sydney.

A model student and a citizen.On second thoughts, Mosese did corrupt
you in Colo-i-Suva, during one of our field trips.Remember the
biggest centipede ever caught in Fiji.The one with 300 legs and all
on one side????
Hey... wize. After his successful
venture in the US, he is retired. Lives in his own Tiri Resort
in Deuba. Oh if anyone in Fiji is looking for a DJ, he is known as
DJ Wazeee.
